The Firehouse Brewing Company has been crafting beer in South Dakota for 25 years - making us the oldest operating brewery in the state. Our building is one of Rapid City's most unique and interesting landmarks. Housed in the original Rapid City fire station, a structure built in 1915, it is listed on the National Historic Register. Our bar is adorned with authentic South Dakota firefighting memorabilia from the days of Rapid City's first fire brigades - including the original fire pole, ladders, patches and more. Good service, got food and cold beer. Exactly what I wanted!
Food was good, service was the worst I have ever remember having. I had to go to the bathroom to get paper towels in order to wipe my hands so I could continue to eat my food. Waitress purple hair and fantabulous attitude. She maybe could use some more beer knowledge but we adored her just the same. Food wrecked us! So good. Cleaned my plate despite unbuttoned trousers. Wine made me happy. The beer was less than awesome but I come from a craft brew dynasty. Can't remember the details on the artichoke dip but it will forever haunt my good dreams.
Great IPA. Great salad. Great (and friendly) service. After seeing all those firetrucks & signs on I-90 for the last 5 years, I'm glad I finally got the chance to stop in.
Delicious food, pretty decent beer, wonderful customer service. Would definitely come again. Bought a glass growler to drag back to Texas with us and all us adults got firehats to celebrate.
This place is great! We had the gumbo and the brisket. Tough to find any sort of southern style food this fr nirth and actually be true to its roots and awesome. Nice to have BBQ that wasn't covered in sauce and done right. And wow the gumbo was amazing!
Such a neat place, good food, good service, if your a Fireman this is a must stop!!!!
Great place to eat. The food was really good, and the local beer was too!
Great show! Enjoyed the play "Baskerville" immensely. Get there early.
