They double withdrew money from my external account, gave me credit only for one withdrawal, and when I called they didn't even open up my account to verify my problem, just said that "an update did not go as planned." Absolutely unacceptable. I'd give them zero stars if I could. Just horrible. A manager was going to call me back, and did not.

I used to bank with Firefly that was a great Credit Union. Ever since they merged with TruStone it has nothing less than a nightmare. I can't go 2 months without randomly having my cards blocked or having them "reported stolen". Every time I call there is not one phone call I have had that was under 25 minutes collectively to resolve my problem. When I am at a store or need to buy something I have no time for 25 min phone calls with people transferring me from one person to another. God forbid you to have card troubles on a ... read more

I am not a Trustone customer, nor have a ever been. Much to my relief. When the 2008 recession hit, I was a customer of US Federal CU. They were legit the best. Unfortunately, I lost my job. Then my house. And I defaulted on a cc loan. My credit was a nightmare. I've been rebuilding since and keep a close eye on my credit report. A few weeks ago, I noticed Trustone Financial listed me as having defaulted on a personal loan. I called Trustone and waited an ungodly amount of time to speak to someone. A man named Kenneth Olson ... read more

Why is the Minnesota department of commerce allowing Trustone Financial to rob people? I purchased a car in 2015. The maturity date was 03/31/2021 but Trustone Financial refused to hand over my title, stating I owe $7094 extra! We I enquired how was that possible they washed over it saying it's what our records indicate. I entered in a written contract with firefly credit now Trustone Financial. The date of that contract has expired and they are extorting money out of me. Minnesota department of commerce says I've got to wai... read more

I would give them a zero if possible. They are scamers and they overcharged.

If I could rate Firefly Credit Union a zero, I would! MWe applied for a mortgage loan in plenty of time to complete all requirements, only to experience internal delays within Firefly caused us to receive a notice that the external company processing the loan could not meet our closing date and would have to extend, causing us great anxiety and potential to lose our ernest payment and cause the seller financial harm, also. We quickly locate another resource for the loan which was approved in five days compared to the credit ... read more

I've had two accounts with this bank for several years now and I haven't had any problems. But when I sat down with one of their representatives to discuss their credit card options, I was told that it was necessary to have at least a small balance on the card's account for my credit score to be reported. It's an outright lie and its only purpose is to squeeze every last cent out of a person's fingers. Such a blatant lie is disgusting and I don't think I want to do any more business with them.
