We went to Firefly to celebrate our anniversary. We had a great time. The service was phenomenal and the food was amazing. We would highly recommend Firefly!
The sushi is amazing! I ordered The Cat’s eye and my husband ordered The Little Richard. For dessert creme brûlée and a peanut butter mousse. All to die for! The service was super fast and our waiter was fantastic! We’ll definitely come here again and again.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Firefly. We did not have reservations, however they were able to seat us rather quickly. Our waiter was very attentive. Our drinks and chilled crab claws arrived quickly. My salmon was perfect and my daughter's filet mignon was seared perfectly. The waite staff arrived at the table only when needed. The only disappointment was a table seated next to us had a complaint about how a beverage was served and proceeded to cause such a clamor that it was disturbing. The She Crab soup with added Sherri, The Devils Advocate Sushi and Cream Brulé are to die for!! However the shrimp and grits needed some more work a little bit bland no effort towards the shrimp Spicing it up perhaps try blackening it.
I called several days prior to April 28,2018 to make reservations for my parents 40th wedding anniversary. They stated that the main dining room was reserved for a wedding, but they could accommodate us in another room. We ordered two bottles of champagne prior and two desserts for our parents. This had been one of our favorite spots since its earlier incarnation as "Canapes" in Panama City. Unfortunately, it's gone vastly downhill since then and I no longer recommend it. We weren't served our dinner until nearly two hours after our arrival (and yes, we had made a reservation). And it was not only that the kitchen was slow - the wait staff was so inattentive that one of our party actually had to get up from the table and follow our server to the kitchen door in order to get his attention.
