Worst experience ever! Stay away from this company if you want your credit to stay good.
They are sneaky they never respond to any emails and if you ask them a question it is a royal run around. One of worst financial institutions I have ever dealt with I pulled my business to a real place who helps you. My 7 year old daughter can answer more questions and about trumped up fees. I left a good bank for these pieces of fly by night garbage,wonder why credit unions popping up every where?they are crooked good luck but if your smart pull your business and run.
I've had a checking/savings account here for a year. My direct deposit has never gone through and I can't deposit checks or cash at any ATM location. When trying to make a purchase and being declined, I went to the Flint location and was told there was a hold on my account because my card had been reported stolen. I used to love this credit union, now it is getting worse than a bank.You can not talk to anyone on the phone, the last two times I have tried calling have been on hold at least 10 minutes, today, called back numerous times, probably total hold time greater than 30 minutes.( The employees are very helpful and pleasant once you do get through)I had to call 2 additional times to obtain my mortgage interest statement, I overheard a co-worker talking about the same thing, when we spoke about it, very similar stories From my unde... read more
Been a customer for 15+ years. Went to cash a CASHIERS CHECK, and was told there would be a 5 day hold on the check. The point of a cashiers check is for the the funds to be available immediately, to be as good as cash. Sure I understand verifying the check is good but all that takes is a simple phone call to the credit union who issued the check. Seems like you guys would have this figured out by now. I called a local bank who told me if I opened an account, they would gladly cash it for me immediately
