There used to be a bigger menu, so I was surprised when I stopped in today and found it had been slashed in half, at least. The atmosphere at noon was quiet, as opposed to how lively it should be on a weekday during the noon hour. I ordered the soup/salad combo with potato-leek soup (advertised as a yummy-looking creamy-white soup) and a grilled-cheese sandwich. One of my favorite KC coffee houses. Love to stop by when I’m in town.
I used to love coming here however I recently went with my mom after being away for a while and it was very nicely renovated however there was new staff and a new menu- both disappointing. The staff were rude and inattentive. The food was WAY over priced and very basic. Myself nor my family will ever be back. I was so sad because this has been a staple for me since college �
They make one of the best lattés I've ever had!!!!
