The wings were great, along with the side of ranch dressing. The fish & chips were decent. The fajita quesadilla was delicious! Definitely will make another late night run here again whenever I'm in town.
My sons chicken strip meal smelled really bad and the grease obviously needed to be changed in the fryer. His fries were soggy and super greasy. The blackened chicken salad that I had was not a blackened chicken breast and the breast was very small. The dressing was not as good as I'd hoped for and there wasn't much else but iceberg lettuce . However, my husband did enjoy their breaded tenderloin. The French fries were cold, brown & cooked in dirty grease. The service was very good.
I love the diversity of the menu. This is what usually keeps me coming back. If I'm not sure what I want, I'll find something that sounds good there!
I drive 45mins. from Illinois City. Great food and service. And the best wings in town. Highly recommend trying the Filling Station.
