Took three managers to get it right. New guy. Food excellent as usual. Love Max and Erma’s but I guess a Friday lunch time is not the time to go. Very very slow service. My guess is the order was not put in initially. Will give them another go

I was there for the Avon convention and my roommates and I popped in to have dinner. Our waiter was Joey and he was THE BEST! Funny, knowledgeable about the menu and food, very attentive to our table even as packed and busy He was. We came back a few nights later just to have dessert and we requested Joey. Our last night there we picked this restaurant because of Joey. Of all the restaurants that we tried in the five days we were there, this had the best food at a reasonable price. But better than anything they have Joey !
Seating was fast, food was good, but the service wasn’t good at all. Server acted like she had better things to do, disappeared for long amounts of time, and then took it upon herself to try and keep the change from my tab, I had to ask for it back and she had to go get it! We loved eating here last year at conference, but this year it was really ruined for us..
Our food was delicious! Would go back there again if I was in the area!
