The pools at Union Station and West Loop are consistently broken. The temperature is too cold to swim. It was 74 in there on Saturday and the maintenance team are not given the funding to repair the issue.
One of the best powerlifting gyms in the country (Quads) is two blocks away. Planet Fitness is 2 blocks away and $10/mo. I see no reason anyone should go here after my experience. Went to East Lakeview after website wouldn't accept payments. Walked in around 9am with a layup sale, card in hand, but no one was there to process payments. I almost signed back up after hearing of the waived fee, just found out by my friend who did that out was kind of a bait and switch... So glad I missed the sign up! Ugh
I took advantage of a complimentary visit to the club and the place, and the staff, are amazing. The facilities and amenities are incredible and I wish this club were closer. I’m looking forward to the new one opening in Elmhurst!
Fantastic facilities and people. I feel like I joined a supportive club community rather than just paying for some sweaty pieces of equipment. You really feel like you're part of something exclusive belonging to FFC
