Don't waist your money here! – I went to this salon after seeing it on city search, and had my worst experience ever! I waited almost 45 min to see my stylist, who was so busy he couldn't even spend more than a couple of minutes to talk to me about my hair! He brushed off all of my input, told me I was "cute" and I shouldn't worry so much about my hair! After spending ten minutes cutting, he tried to tell me I needed to buy all six products he recommended for me, and forgot about me while someone else dried my hair. No joke!

fabulous, i love it!!! – I used to live in the Bay Area and I went to the Berkeley and SF salon. I moved to So Cal and I still make a twice yearly trip up to Festoon to have my hair done. I won't let any of the hacks down here touch my hair. Polly, Daren, and Melissa are my favorites. I never appreciated what a good cut and color was until I had my hair done at Festoon.
the best!! – I had been going to festoon for 2 years until I moved to LA and have to say that they are the most talented, fun and proffesional staff that I've seen. No attitude from everyone from the assistants to the front desk. It was a true getaway everytime I went. They make you feel like family and the amount of knowledge and experience is unreal value for the price. Fabulous – Polly gave me an amazing cut and I didn't need to provide her with lots of direction. She was prompt, polite and enjoyable. These qualities apply to the front desk staff as well. They were professional and helpful. I highly recommend Festoon!
all hype – I had the worst cut and color I've ever had at Festoon. Turns out my stylist was a new hire who was fired almost immediately. I gave them a second chance b/c of their reputation and was assigned another inexperienced stylist. When I asked for several popular stylists by name I was told they are not taking new clients --- which means that the people who -made- the salon's reputation are basically inacessible. Best Haircut for $50 – I recently visited Anthony at festoon and received the best haircut I've ever had! Anthony does a tremendous job with long layers. I highly reccommend Anthony and Festoon!
Great Cut, Great Staff – I was very happy with my recent trip to SF for a new haircut. Melissa does a great job and the staff are wonderful.
great experience – Like the other user, I too just moved to SF and was intimidated finding a good salon. Festoon was AWESOME and I will be returning. The receptionist was friendly and listened to my needs (and budget) when I called to make the appointment and offered options. Festoon was affordable, friendly and soothing after a days work . . . I would recommend them to anyone. They were informative, but not pushy about products. Thanks Anthony for a great job!
