Dr. Holcomb was my dentist when I was a child. I am now 49 years old, and I still have all the fillings and crowns he put in when I was a teen. I can remember going to his office as a child and not being afraid. He is the only dentist my children, ages 22 and 19 have ever been to. His staff is very kind, and they make us all feel comfortable and welcome each time we visit. He also did my daughters braces, and she has a beautiful smile. My 9 year old refuses to go to any other dentist after receiving care by Dr. Holcomb. He and his staff are very informative of the procedure and inform the child through every step, even provide a mirror so they can see what is being done, very very helpful with an anxious child. He is out of network with my insurance but I will pay the extra, it is definitely worth it!
Dr. H and his staff are a diamond in the rough for the Garland/Rowlett area. We 3 children and haved moved twice in the 15 years we've been with this practice. I've driven the distance b/c of the quality and care of service in everything from check-ups to braces. I could'nt be more pleased with their attention to everything from health/dental issues to how each child will respond to the visit. I went to Dr. Holcomb as a child (8 years old) when we moved to Texas. Now my children go to him. He and his staff who he has had for that long also, are kind, considerate, and gentle. They not only treat the child, but the parents with respect and kindness. I only wish I could still go to him because I can't find a general dentist that I trust as much as I trusted him.
I am overjoyed with the treatment that Dr. Holcomb has provided for my two sons. I always worry about the cost of dental treatment, since we're surviving on a very small income. However, Dr. Holcomb's charges are always affordable. My youngest son loves Dr. Holcomb's office so much he actually asks to go to the dentist. My oldest son is very afraid of sharp dental instruments and needles, and has difficulty with getting X-rays taken because he gags, and Dr. Holcomb was more than happy to forgo certain examination procedures ... read more
It seems like an essembly line type dentist office. But the staff is friendly and the cost isn't too bad.
Dr. Holcomb is the best pediatric dentist around. He makes both of my boys feel comfortable, and does every treatment in a kind, caring way. The front desk is always willing to help with anything!
I started going to Dr. Holcomb at the age of 3 until I was 14. I received great treatment and loved going there as a child. Dr. Holcomb did amazing work to my teeth, and til this day I still receive compliments. Dr. Holcomb is a wonderful person and doctor with a great love for pediatric dentistry. I am now 25 and pursuing a job in the dental field. One main reason I decided to go this route is for the love of dentistry and because all of the great people at Dr. Holcomb's office. Would recommend to anyone!!!
Dr. Holcomb is a sincere & gentle dentist. I saw Dr. Holcomb for the first time when I was at the tender age of 6 until I turned 18 and he could no longer see me (I was an adult!). Dr. Holcomb shows personal expression toward each patient to include compassion, empathy, and sympathy, when necessary. He is the kindest dentist I have ever met.
