Dr. Ashgar is the best spine surgeon ever, IMHO. He is very understanding and caring. I have never had any issues with him. He performed a L4-S1 anterior and posterior approach 360 fusion on me on May 13th 2026. There was absolutely no complications during or after surgery. Everyone is impressed with the level of care, the surgical sites, level of experience, etc. That Dr. Ashgar showed with me and how he was able to take my collapsed lumbar spine which caused me to stand at a 20 degree angle and lift me back up and standing... read more
Find someone else! He is a surgeon but doesnt allow you to have input on your medical condition. He explained the surgery that needs to be done would only buy me 2yrs of less pain but then I would be right back to pain level I am at. (9/10). I would be at retirement age by then. He has made the decision for me to live in pain and to deal with it.

Quack. Contradicted four years of x-rays, Radiologists, and another Neurosurgeon to say I don't have scoliosis and I should wear a corset and lean to the right. What??!!!! Also rude.
