On my last visit I noticed they changed soda vendors to Coke! First strike! Then when the waitress brought out the chips and salsa the chips were terrible! I asked about the chips and she told me they changed to a different type/brand of tortilla to make the chips! Strike two! The food has always been good but I don't think I will be dining in anymore! When you have a good recipe stick with it! Bad tortilla's!
Have fond memories of going there to eat menudo after seeing Little Joe at the Cotillion or The Broadview. We'd sit with the Ruvacalbas' or the Manuel and Pauline Hernandez families! Who remembers that? Everyone was dressed to the 9s . All gowns and tails! People were classy back then. And the food never dissapointing!

Excellent food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff!! Felipe's is hands down my favorite and the best restaurant for Mexican food in Wichita. Plus it's locally owned and operated; support local businesses and keep the local economy booming!
