I always order way too much but somehow end up eating nearly all of it. The most authentic Mexican food in Rio Rancho. The carne asada tacos come with 2 tortillas and enough stuff to fill them both. The shrimp cocktail is the real deal, too, very spicy with an entire avacado sliced up in it. So good.
So many things are wrong with Federico's. At least the one in Rio Rancho. The food is over salted, the corn tortillas for the tostadas were burnt, and I was sick for days after eating there. I was also annoyed that I called my order in, got there 20 minutes later and still had to wait about 6 minutes or so to get my food. I think they forgot to make it. Very dissatisfied! Also, there's a sign in the window that says, "aditional" instead of "additional". So sad.
Great place for good food at reasonable prices!! Tuesday is taco day!!!
Thanks for the real Sacatecas style Mexican food. The cooks are Mexicans and certainly know how to make food that has individual flavors.
