Dr. Milla operated on me on Oct 16, 2020. He performed an annuloplasty on both my mitral and tricuspid valves. Soft-spoken, talented, and humble, this man is a surgeon's surgeon. I was blessed to have his talent at the right time and in the right place. I owe him and the staff at the Marcus Heart and Valve Center my life. Should fate put you in this man's hands, God had a hand in the decision.
Dr. Milla was a Godsend. He did open heart surgery on me for tricuspid and mitral annuloplasty. I was blessed to have him and his staff. Humble, talented, and always willing to explain, during this difficult time, this man is both an amazing surgeon but a decent man.
Dr. Milla saved my life with his God-given skills after I was Life-flighted to Piedmont Heart Institute following a massive aortic dissection. The OR was where I first met Dr. Milla and after 11 hours of surgery (including 40 minutes of my heart being stopped on during the surgery while packed in ice the entire time) I went to recovery and my repair has been fine ever since.
