Federated dramatically increased the premium after the first year with no claims then charged me fees when we switched companies. *response* Doesn't really matter who you've escalated it to. I've wasted a lot of time getting clarity on what was going on all to be pointed to a clause stating that I could be charged unnamed fees if we canceled with you early. Was initially quoted for 10 months payments annually with 2 months off on a commercial policy. Signed up but 11 months later, was charged the other 2 months. Decided to cancel because misrepresented. All payments were paid and no claims. Then 2 months later, they send a bill for a $1200 cancelation fee (no language of mention in policy). I'm on workman's comp and this is the insurer. You will receive the worst third world Dr they have in their network to devalue your case to cheat you outta what you should rightfully be entitled to. They need to be criminally liable for the Drs that neglect you along the way. If the owner of federated has a concern you have my lawyers #.
What a terrible insurance company to do business with. Use them for insurance for five years never needed them. I had all different types of coverage with these folks and then found out that they are not good on their word and their upper management will not cover their employees mistakes and will cost your company money and time..I then found out they are way over priced. I advise look around an use a last resort.
