I’m not sure how it is from the buying aspect but if you rent, you’re definitely just kinda left high and dry for any kind of fix. My basement floods every single time it rains and causes my hot water heater to go out. Now I’ve been without hot water for 3 weeks and they’re waiting on the part, which wouldn’t be a huge deal had they not told me it would be fixed “tomorrow” and not show up 3-4 times.
