I would rate this hospital a zero if offered that option. Do not trust your elderly parents to be treated well at Fawcett Memorial Hospital.

As a well experienced nurse, I am very disappointed in the care of my friend's father, who is a decorated war hero! You did not check him properly in the ER for a Stroke when he was showing symptoms and you tried kicking him out on the street! Shame on the dr for going MIA when he was needed most! I would never recommend your facility to anyone!

If there was a zero star that would be my rating. It is difficult ot believe that a hospital and a doctor would throw a 92 year old battle decorated veteran of 2 wars out on the street, A friend of mines dad is one tough cookie, he received a bronze star in WWII for assisting in the shooting down of a kamikaze plane directed at his ship. He participate in 4 seven month tours to Vietnam on 2 different US Naval ships, the USS Kearsarge CV-33 & the USS Frank E Evans DD-754. He ...Continue Reading

What can you say about a hospital and a doctor throwing a 92 year old battle decorated veteran of 2 wars out on the street? My dad is one tough cookie, he received a bronze star in WWII for assisting in the shooting down of a kamikaze plane directed at his ship. I have a friend who's Father was never tested for having a stroke until many hours later and it loos like he may have had one AND they were going to discharge him before this was even going to be looked at and he is not in good shape at all. Disgusting that a hospital and it's staff would treat a 92 year old Veteran in such a way. Sad, sad state we are in as far as medical care for our aging adults!!
