Yuppie Food – The food at Father's office will help you get over the elbow shoving wait for the 10 tables you can sit at. The burgers and fries are undeniably good and the beer and wine selection will appease anyone. I would recommend coming on a weekday (M-W) at 5 to avoid the rush.

Good if you like Belgian brew – Father's Office is great for their Belgian beer selection. Supposedly they have great burgers, but I haven't tried 'em. Otherwise, the place is way too small to truly enjoy yourself. And trying to hear another person while in conversation is nearly impossible.

Do Not Be Afraid!! – Yes, its true. Father's Office is crowded. But it's because this place has the best beer selection and the best food I've ever tasted in a bar in my life. Yes, its true that Father's Office does not provide ketchup with their fries. But I've never had a better fry than their sweet potato fries dipped in blue cheese aioli. It's true that you have to be 21 to get in. But...Thank GOD there's a baby-free haven on stroller crazy Montana Ave. Yes, the service is sometimes curt. But when the dark-eyed bartendre... read more

Never again – I went in with some co-workers, we ate, drank & tipped. Then the barender actually came over to our table and accussed us of not tipping along with a sob story about how he is not paid enough $$. I did love this place. Bad service I can put up with for good food, but attitude? No way. The bartender is like the soup nazi in Sienfelt. Does he want to sell beer or just make everybody angry. If you want to end your day on a sour note go here.

Once a great bar – Sadly - its so loud and packed that it's not worth going. They need to buy the damn babrber shop next store and add some more space.!!

CROWDED FOR A REASON – since i was born and raised in LA i've visited a plethora of burger joints and Father's Office is the absolute best, bar none. i even learned to appreciate their "no substitutions" rule because everyone gets to enjoy their signature burger in its supreme glory. i didn't even realize that the burgers had no sauce because the patty was so freakin' juicy! the spinach keeps the burger from feeling too heavy and the blue cheese adds a nice touch. and their selection of beers is incredible. i always choose f... read more

Best burger ever! – The Father's Office burger is as good as all the hype! I am always in search of the perfect burger, and I've found nothing better than this. It gets terribly crowded, but you just have to be prepared to fend for yourself in grabbing a table. We usually end up sitting at a table with strangers. Great beer selection and a nice after work crowd, too.

This place used to be really cool before all the hype. Then they came out with that darn burger ( L.A. Times Posted the recipe in their food section a couple of years back) You can make it at home and avoid all the wannabes that crowd the joint. They serve Chimay in the proper galsses and should be commended for that, BUT STAY AWAY!!! IT IS TERRIBLE. EVERYBODY HAS A BAD ATTITUDE. DON'T GO , EVER, ( and maybe that way I can find a seat for myself to have some awesome beers and the best burger.

I came for the food... – But I was really impressed with everything about this place. I was surprised how crowded it was at 8:00 PM. It took us awhile to get a table, but it's part of the charm I guess. The crowd was good...everyone was laid back. The beer was strong and good and so was our bartender, Chirstmas. Treat her well and she'll treat you well. The burger was REALLY GOOD as were the sweet potato fries (both really expensive)...I just wish there was ketchup. I got drunk...I got full...and I had a lot of fun. This is ... read more
