The RIBS and chicken, OMG!!!! So amazing! The mac 'n' cheese was tasty. The beans were too salty for my taste, but the lemonade was delish!
The real deal! Incredible ribs and friendly service! Can't recommend any more highly!

I’ve been coming to Fat Matts for 10 years but I’m gunna have to say Im not a fan any more. The macaroni and cheese has become watered down, loose, and just not as good any more. Its starting to resemble boxed mac and cheese instead of home made. The ribs aren’t as grilled as they normally are and the price has gone up. I thought I’d give it one more try today but was disappointed and it wasn’t worth the drive from Alpharetta. I had to put my ribs in the air fryer when I got home.
As a lifelong southerner from East Tennessee I take my BBQ seriously. Fat Matt's came highly recommended by some locals. I took some international students from Taiwan and Trinidad, they fell in love with this place and so did I. I like a little more heat in my sauce but not a whole lot more. Y'all knocked it out of the park!
So so so good! Love that they have live music also. My go to place when visiting Atlanta!
