One of my favorite places to hang out, and I love that it's in north Austin (so close to my house!) I love that they’ve gone all vegan! All of the desserts I've tried have been delicious, and the Belgian waffle (try it with fruit compote and vegan whipped cream!) and the traditional Indian chai are true standouts. Also, my bandmates' dauchshunds adore the dog treats.
My mom and I were hanging out in Austin last Friday. I wanted to try this place out.. We drove about 30 min out of the way home to grab some desserts. The flavoring was really good. I picked the mexican chocolate snickerdoodle cookie and the really chocolatey cupcake. My mom picked the same cupcake and the turtle cookie. I like the iced coffee with coffee ice cubes and the special donuts! The vegan ice cream is yummy too.
I'm very happy my partner and I stumbled across your cafe! We live in the neighborhood across the street and are SOOOO HAPPY to have a vegan-friendly cafe in our area! But... Have yet to try the waffles when will the iron return?!
