urgent care was okay... My experience on the urgent care side was pleasant. After the followup with family practice a few weeks later, I felt like I'd been run over by a train. I don't know anything about the doctor at this practice but the family practice PA (-not Reza-) was loud, extremely intrusive and treated me like an idiot. Also, I could clearly hear him talking to another patient through the wall (can you say HIPAA?)
Great Place for Professional Health Care ! I am 61 years old, without Health Insurance, and have been going to the Family Clinic on NC Hwy 42 since December of 2005. The staff is very efficient, the wait time is not long and the MD's are very professional with the clients. Great Place to go anytime you need medical attention. J.W.B. from Cleveland Area.
Ms. This provider is very caring, very knowledgeable, concerned about the patient and cognizant of costs involved.
Great Place First off, the staff and facilities at Wake Urgent Care are amazing! Mr.Hatefi genuinely cares about his patients and makes sure that his staff reflects that as well. In response to the other posts - yes, an abscessed tooth SHOULD go to the dentist (there are atleast 2 urgent care dentists in Raleigh!), plus people don't understand that if they allow every patient to be seen without payment, they will never get their money! IT'S STILL A BUSINESS!! Plus, PA's CAN do most anything that an MD can! Especially at Wake... read more
Great Service It's every parent's fear that something happens when your regular pediatricians office is closed and you have to take your child to the ER. I took my daughter to Wake Urgent Care instead one evening, and I am ever so happy that I did. She got prompt attention, the wait was not as long as I anticipated with it being after hours and the doctor was excellent! I will definately be going back there again if the need arises. PROS: Staff CONS:
Wake Urgent Care turned me away crying and in pain.... Sunday June 22, 2008 I went to Wake Urgent Care today with a severe abscessed tooth. The entire right side of my face was swollen my eye was almost closed at the inside corner. One look at my face and it was very evident that I needed medical attention right away. However, because I couldn't afford to pay the full $109.00 office visit upfront (because I would need money to get the medication to treat my symptoms) they wouldn't treat me. Even though I offered to pay half ... read more
New Patient I wanted to establish a relationship with a new doctor, since I moved to the area 2 years ago, and had not seen a family doctor for about 8 years. My wife had been in about 2 months prior. She was happy with the Dr. she saw. So I asked to see the same one. I was told she only sees 1 new patient a day Mon. through Fri. "Okay today is Thurs., how long is the wait?" Oh, you would have to see the PA (physicians assistant), that's the way we do it. "He can do whatever the Dr. can." I said excuse me, but there's a reas... read more
