The Legend begins with beer—Busch beer to be exact. But this was just the beginning…In 1921 Anheuser Busch decided to open a drinking establishment in the picturesque river town of Alton, Illinois. A yellow brick building known as Bon-Air, was constructed right on the corner of three streets, 4th, Pearl and Broadway. What’s to like... cash only, drink minimum, only sugar-laced drinks, sour puss, unfriendly waitresses. My last visit. Unfortunately I was dragged down there against my will.

The customer service was great. The food was very reasonable. The taste of the food was delicious. However, if you don't get there by 11:30am just expect a crowd.
Gone down hill as far as food quality. Service was great. Prices are on drinks are EXTREMELY high
Awesome place. Will always go back. Food is reasonable and always good. Server we had in the cubby hole room was fantastic.
