The Legend begins with beer—Busch beer to be exact. But this was just the beginning…In 1921 Anheuser Busch decided to open a drinking establishment in the picturesque river town of Alton, Illinois. A yellow brick building known as Bon-Air, was constructed right on the corner of three streets, 4th, Pearl and Broadway. I had the dollar 99 Burger it was good my sister had the beef kabob which was so tender and excellent. great prices you just can't beat this place it. was clean all the people that worked there were quick to help you and your drinks came right away. The staff was nice. But would have enjoyed a more friendlier atmosphere
RecommendedFood is good, beer is super cold the atmosphere is good. Little things like waitress hovering after you pay for drinks stalling for a tip after each round. Usually tip before we leave, she was obvious to the point of almost asking in fact she was asking customers if they wanted their coins. Music is good a tad to loud. 😊
My first time there it was awesome. Next time up that way I will stop by again.
