The Legend begins with beer—Busch beer to be exact. But this was just the beginning…In 1921 Anheuser Busch decided to open a drinking establishment in the picturesque river town of Alton, Illinois. A yellow brick building known as Bon-Air, was constructed right on the corner of three streets, 4th, Pearl and Broadway. The band all mixed up was really good the food was good at a great price our waitress started out a little edgy she wouldn’t let a group of eight order 7 mixed drinks and a water she insisted it had to be all drinks on the 1st order other wise I would have given 5 stars
We were there for our son’s 21st birthday and it was awesome.
Best place ever. Staff is awesome, food is delicious and the beer is always cold.
Brats , Big Elwood’s & the tasty French fries. Excellent food & great lunch date with my husband. Music & relaxing environment!👍
