The Legend begins with beer—Busch beer to be exact. But this was just the beginning…In 1921 Anheuser Busch decided to open a drinking establishment in the picturesque river town of Alton, Illinois. A yellow brick building known as Bon-Air, was constructed right on the corner of three streets, 4th, Pearl and Broadway. Can I give a negative star? Food was not seasoned, staff was extremely RUDE!!!!! Black and minorities beware, bigoted establishment!!! They treated my friends like crap!!! Then I was "guilty" by association!!!! Will not recommend, will not be back!!!!! Horrible!!!
For how much I hear about Fast Eddy’s and what a great place it is, I found it lacking. For being the largest indoor patio I found it small and over crowd (fire safety hazard crowd, with only one small exit that was narrow). I found it odd for this establishment to only expect cash, for being as popular as it is. When going to the restroom I only found one stall which did not meet the needs of the establishment and smelled of chlorine at a gross disgusting level.
