They say the eyes are the windows to the soul :) While some women my age visit the plastic surgeon or aesthetic dermatologist to refresh their look, I head to Kaiser Permanente to see my favorite specialist: my ophthalmologist, Dr. Avaz. He has been my hero since 2021, when he performed an emergency surgery to save my right eye sight after an upper retinal detachment.
