My son had the burger and soup, I think it cheddar potato. He said it was delicious. I had the salad that comes with the two pieces of bacon on top. The waiter said it was entree sized, and that is true, but just seemed to be lettuce, the dressing, and 2 strips of bacon. It really should come with bread or a cup of soup. It's not worth 9 dollars. It will visit again, but I will choose something more substantial. Incidentally, this building was Ken's Pizza Parlor in the 70s. Spent many happy times there.

If you live in Springfield and you're not eating at Chef Andy Hampshire's restaurant you are really missing out on a real gem. This place is legit! They bring in fresh seafood weekly which I really appreciate . Homemade soups daily......heck the entire menu is just awesome . Plus it's nice to know we are supporting our local farmers . I've never reviewed a restaurant on Facebook before but I felt so compelled to get the word out. I can't wait to see if this talented young chef comes up with another restaurant . Service was excellent. If you want a salad to go with entree ask about the side salad not on the menu that is smaller and less expensive. Not overly crazy about the Farmers pie, but many other choices that I would go back to try. First visit. Made it easy to choose gluten free items.
Everything is made in house, even the ketchup! I ordered the burger with in house aioli sauce and an appetizer of the Willow Mountain mushrooms. Both were amazing. I am a picky eater and walking in I was very hesitant. The restaurant was picked by a friend but I'm glad I saw it through. It was very good. Highly recommended.
