Dr. Kerendi performed quadruple bypass surgery on me in March 2025. Right before I was brought into the OR, he spent over 30 minutes clearly and completely explaining what would be done in a way that I could understand.Right from the beginning, I felt completely at ease with and knew I could trust him. He’s calm and expresses himself with total confidence.The result of my surgery was excellent. Nine months later I feel like a new person.
Dr Kerendi is a brilliant surgeon, listens and communicates well, and is empathetic and personable. I had planned my heart surgery at Houston medical center, but after deciding to proceed with Dr Kerendi, have been extremely pleased with the results and grateful for his expertise.
We just had our initial appointment to prepare for my husband’s bypass surgery. Dr. Kerendi took his time with us, answered all of our questions and really made us feel at ease going into a very stressful time. He came highly recommended and he did not disappoint.
Did not immediately recommend surgery suggested a couple of test for my cardiologist to perform and based on the outcome would talk further of scheduling surgical procedures. He did listen to me.
It was exactly what I was hoping for. An honest opinion of treatment types and the best option for successful long term repair.
I am from El Paso TX, and I am very thankful with Dr. Faraz because he saved my life I suffered an aortic dissection and there was no Surgeons willing to treat me in El Paso, so they took me on airplane to Austin where Dr. Faraz was waiting for me to treat me. It was an 8 hour open heart surgery but it was will worth it I am alive.
The Dr. Was very informative and explained what was really going on with me told me the things I needed to know then his nurse. Set up my surgery date and went thru each step of what would happen leading up and after the surgery
Dr. Kerendi is kind, gentle, and interested in his patients. He was is very personable and attentive.
Dr. Kerendi took the time to answer all my questions. He was also helpful in looking at my health issues holistically rather than focusing on just my heart. He is a great surgeon as well.
