You would think that a benefit for a Children's Hospital would be more accommodating to children, and welcoming to children with special needs. This event was so overrun with people.. you couldn't even take time and enjoy anything. People were cutting in line and pushing by each other. My husband ended up walking our Autistic daughter around while I waited in line with my son and used up the remainder of our tickets so his experience wasn't ruined. It was once again and amazing experience, except for one small issue. I have a 5 year old autistic child who wanted to ride the carousel. I was going on the ride to ensure her safety on the horse. I was told in order to get on the ride myself I would also have to pay, even though it was only to make sure she was safe. This is supposed to be a fundraiser for a children's hospital and the people at the ticket table have no values of children with special needs. Hundreds of beautifully decorated Christmas Trees. It's a charity event for Children's Hospital and you can purchase the trees. There is also a children's area with crafts and a carousel. Wonderful start to the Christmas season.
