My boys and I have visited Fantstic Sams a few times over the past several years. Today was the WORST for me.It was Sunday afternoon...around 3pm. I walk in, signed in and I get a rude gum-smacking, "What are you needing?" I replied, "A wash and cut" She rudely responds, "Youre going to have to wait awhile, theres a few ahead of you. I just moved to Amarillo and have been to Fantastic Sams twice now. My experience there was really good; they even gave me coupons for a discount on my next visits. Some of the girls working there are pretty eye catching as well. Overall my visits there were positive and I plan on returning for future visits.

Great business!!! I have been in this Fantastic sams over the last few years and they have made excellent changes in the look and feel of the Salon.The staff was attentive to my family and our needs. I would recommend this Salon to anyone!!! The prices are great as well. It is only \$13.95 for a cut and shampoo for adults and \$9.95 for kids.. most places charge 3 or 4 dollars extra for a shampoo.. (what a bargain) The new look is very retro and uptown looking. They informed me that they have a new owner and management. It s... read more

My experience was great! I went in yesterday to get a cut and color. I found their prices to be very reasonable and their staff to be very accomodating and friendly! My stylist was very concerned about what "I" wanted and made sure I was happy before I left.

Dont waste your time or money at this place. Especially if you have curly hair. They will not listen to what you want. It isnt worth the money you "saved" if you have to go to someone else and get your hair "fixed". Oh, and the new decor? They painted the walls black and put up black curtains so that you cant tell how many people are waiting when you pull into the parking lot. No wonder they have such a huge turnover rate. Anyone good leaves as fast as possible, and the bad ones probably get fired quickly! Go elsewhere.
