I've ordered several cakes from Fancy Cakes and I cannot say enough wonderful things. First, during our consultation, Lauren brought so many new and refreshing ideas that my cakes were "not the same ole' thing". The taste and flavors (I've done several different combinations) of the cakes are delicious and I was sad to take the last bite. Love this lady, love these cakes! Lauren can create anything imaginable. She is kind and generous and creative. I meant to write this review over a year ago when she created the most gorgeous art deco inspired NYE wedding cake for me. We couldn't have been happier with the cake - it was a showpiece and our friends are still talking about it.
If you want a great wedding cake, DO NOT go here. Lauren is a very sweet lady initially, until you work with her. Our wedding was June 24th, the cake was incorrectly made and she made the wrong one. After she incorrectly made the bridal shower cake we debated not using her, but we gave her the benefit of the doubt which we regret. I've had better Wal-Mart cakes. She has terrible attitude and placed blame everywhere else. Loved our wedding, loathed this business. Don't go here.
