Had the best service and my waitress was incredible
Famous Dave's BBQ is my favorite BBQ restaurants in Colorado Springs, in fact when I moved here from Texas in '08 I looked around for a place to call My BBQ place, after my 1st visit to FD's I never looked for another place.
Went in for the first time last night and the food was very good - not crazy about the beans but that's personal taste. Love their cut fries - just salty and crispy enough. Service was fine, and at the end of our meal the hostess came by to see how our first visit went , suggested we try the rib ends next time and sent us home with a free sample!
I got there about 1:20 and there may have been 5 cars in the parking lot so I figured that it would be quick service. I walk in and stood what seem to be 5 min waiting to be seated after I was finally seated the lady said my waiter would be right with me, well that didn't happen. After what seem to be another 5 minutes the lady that seated me came back and took my drink order. So-so.. it's not real Texas BBQ. But average at best.
The dinner came late. It took 15 minutes for the waitress to refill our drinks.
I ordered a smoked ham for Christmas this year and it was amazing! I am using the leftovers for a lot of different meals. I had ordered one last year and I wasn't impressed, but this year's just blew my family away with the terrific taste! Thank you and we will definitely order from your catering again!
It was AMAZING! Two thumbs Up!!! Everything from the staff to the food was great. Will definitely eat here again
Was excited to take a friend for her first experience with Famous Dave's and was so very disappointed in how rudely we were treated by our waiter named Jeffrey...Needless to say she has no desire to ever return again. I feel that if I ask for butter for my bread and sweet corn there is no reason it should be tossed on the table and then when I asked for more I had to hear rude remarks from the waiter as he picked up the bowl.
