One of the best in Frederick! Best onion rings and fried chicken!
I wanted to love the place but the apps at the bar were cold .... It's sad cause no one was there .

Disappointing. In the past we have had excellent experiences at Family Meal. I took out of town guest on Saturday 28 Mar 15. They were unable to serve the Pastrami Sandwich ( how to you run out at a busy restaurant by 2 pm on a Saturday?). Then I ordered the Arugula with Steak. The steak was spoiled- and when it was returned, I was flippantly told it was just 'seasoned that way'. So if you like seasoned rancid beef- this is where to order it! ( By the way, we home raise beef- and I know when beef is spoiled).
Awesome burger. Great service. This restaurant is one of the highlights of our trip to Frederick, MD. You'll be glad to bring your friends, family, and co-workers. Enjoy! Stop reading this review! Just go!
Service was fine, but the sandwich was just so-so.
Incredible food! Awesome beverages. Adult milkshakes.... hell yeah! I can understand some of the negative reviews. Some people just don't understand high end dining. They earned a customer for life with me. Can't wait to go back.
Enjoyed a wonderful vegan dish of farro, roasted brussels sprouts and sauteed spinach. The chef prepared it upon my request. One of the best vegan dishes ever.
Food was amazing, a new delight at each dish. Service was really good. Definitely going to make the drive again.
