I first sought counseling with Shannon over 5 years ago when I was dealing with marital problems, and later through a painful divorce and the personal difficulties that came with it. On my first visit, Shannon patiently listened as I told her that I did not believe in counseling and I was only there to be able to say I had I had tried marriage counseling.
