We rescued our Shihpoo at two and a half weeks old. We were recomended a vet and received nothing but problems. Then a great friend told us about Family Friends and since then we are at ease for the first time. Thank You So Much... Our Morty has brought nothing but Joy to our family and now we finaly found someone who actually cares.
Dr.Kathryn Sutphen we just can't thank you enough for saving our little Tanner you just don't hear ' Addison disease' very often and at first the first couple of days doctors couldn't figure out what was causing tanner to be so helpless it took Dr.Sutphen a few days and she had it figured out being a graduate from 'MSU ' Vet school. So I highly recommend Dr.Sutphen and her staff they are so caring , gentle and friendly! My dog actually starts talking when we get off the exit to friends and family vet..
Last Christmas I boarded my two dogs at Family Friends for ten days. When I picked the up they were supposed to bathed and dry. Instead of bathed and dry they were wet, grimy, dirty and both had skin conditions. Furthermore, after taking them home I was unable to touch their backs without them wincing and crying. It was weeks before I could touch their backs. I can't imagine what was done to them. Family Friends Veterinary Center are just that....'Family Friends' !! They care!! I called there today with a concern about flea & tick protection for my dogs. Dani answered the phone and even though she said she was fairly new, she expressed genuine interest and concern, answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. We have been taking our dogs to Family Friends for just a couple of years. All of the staff is superb and my conversation with Dani today was another example of that. We drove 45min. One way to see Dr carpenter an his wonderful staff with our bulldog Lola now with god in doggie heaven. When I decide to get another bulldog I will not hesitate one bit on driving the distance again!!
These guys are simply the best! From the friendly staff up front to the expert care from the vets and techs. I would never consider leaving, even if I lived an hour away. Family Friends is the best!
