I am always pleased with the Care & Compassion received by everyone at Family Friends. Dr. Carpenter has been treating my Akitas and Bulldogs for over 20 yrs. Wouldn't trust anyone else.

Everyone was very friendly and very helpful! I love the pictures I received of my Isabelle! I found out later that Isabelle spent A lot of time hanging out with the staff in the boarding area. On a later visit, One of your staff members said, "I remember your cute little one-eyed poodle sitting with the staff! They sometimes have their favorites!" It made me feel great to know that my baby was in such good hands.

So... being a bonehead.... I assumed that they were an emergency clinic since their name contained the word Hospital.... I called and asked their hours. And their fee... and then drove Fergie up there without a further thought. The receptionist was obviously extremely annoyed at my ignorance of their functions and gathered my info despite the rolled eyes and sighs.... however... Dr. Carpenter was amazing!!!! And extremely understanding and knowledgeable and even gave his home number if Fergie worsened over the holiday weeken... read more

I have taken my pets to various pet clinics around Grand Rapids over the last 20 years and have never found a place to be as caring and professional as Family Friends Veterinary Hospital. From the front lobby staff and through out the facility everyone is so friendly and caring. They are more than just a business, but a place of healing and compassion. Also, I love that Dr. Sharp follows up with a call to see hour our pet is doing after a treatment.
