My eyeglasses finally broke after more than 10 years of use and it had been that long since I last had my eyes examined. However, when I tried to make an appointment with my original eye care center, I was told that there was a 4 week waiting period. I couldn't wait that long, so I called around a number of places trying to get a quick appointment without success until I contacted the Family Eye Health & Contact Lens Center. Doctor Mailhot and his staff are very friendly and wonderful to work with. I wear both glasses and contact lenses and I have a thick prescription, but when you look at my glasses you would never know it! They make great recommendations and have great frames styles to choose from. My contacts are very comfortable and I see very well with them, I love having the option of wearing both glasses for a more "studious" look and contacts for everything else. I highly reccomend Dr. Mailhot and his team to anyone who wants outstanding eye care treatment. I've had a few eye ailments that Dr.Mailhot has always been "dead on" with diagnoses and treatment, and they fit me right in when I had an emergency. Lori who is the optical/eye glass fitting associate is also very knowledgeable and helpful when picking out the right frame and lenses. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure the patients are satisfied!
