RecommendedThe Dr. Cantley and staff all so kind and knowledgeable to handle all of my eye care needs whether vision or medical period. The office is very clean and is handling new COVID-19 protocol well. They always treat us like family and work with our busy schedules. We would not go anywhere else for visits, contacts, or glasses. My husband and I have used Family Eye Care since we moved to Sylacauga five years ago and always had good service until my last trip. I have never been treated so rudely by a person/business as I was today. I ordered new lens on my last exam and specifically told the man that works in the eye glass department that I did not want the reflective coating because they were just a spare set of glasses to watch TV with. I absolutely LOVE this place! Dr. Stacy and her staff are magnificent at what they do! They make you feel like it's a privilege to take care of you! 5/5 stars!!
The eye exam went great but they were trying to steer me towards another brand that I didn’t want. I agreed to wear a trial pair, but that was it. I didn’t try to order contacts until several months later and I had to fight tooth and nail with the girl, saying my preferred brand was discontinued, and that they weren’t approved for extended wear, despite two previous eye doctors in different cities saying they were. Even Bausch’s website says they can be worn continuously for up to 30 days. I finally just had to demand a pape... read more

When a contact lens company releases an improved contact lens they trade our trial fitting set out for the new product to ensure we have the best products available for our patients. Unfortunately, we do not have a fitting set anymore for the PureVision2 Astigmatism contacts due to this protocol but we do have Bausch & Lomb's newest astigmatism contact lens trial set.
