Always a pleasant appointment at family dental center. Everyone is very friendly and there to help with anything. My hygienist is Lisa. I have been seeing her for many years and we have become good friends. She does an amazing job cleaning my teeth. Always look forward to seeing her

My hygienist calls me a "collector" because plaque develops quickly in my mouth and, once established, is hard to clean off. After years of not taking that seriously, I finally got into the habit of flossing at least once a day, in addition to brushing. I even started using an anti-tartar, anti-plaque rinse! How nice it was to hear the hygienist notice the positive effect and give me virtual pats on the back for improving my dental care regimen. All of us need reinforcement for doing things right, no matter how old we get!
I had to get my wisdom teeth removed which I was very nervous about for a couple of reasons. I'd never had a surgery, even minor. I'd never gone under. I'm a wimp to pain and IVs freak me out; I get very squeamish about them and needles. But the team there was so friendly and comforting and they prescribed me the right things so that I was nothing more than a tad bit nervous, even as Dr. Peter's was giving me the IV, which I was more nervous about than the surgery itself believe it or not.
