Absolutely love my braids!! Very welcoming environment and really nice! was able to put my braids into a ponytail instantly with no pain. Will be back!
I went to this place to get tree braids and had to go back twice because the braids kept unraveling. She did not knot them properly and I asked her to use glue on the ends and she refused. She got an attitude when told her if she did my hair right the first time, I wouldn’t have had to keep returning. I live an hour away from the shop! She got very defensive. I will never deal with this shop ever again.

I've been getting my hair done at Fama's for years. Even when I moved 45 miles away, I wouldn't go ANYWHERE else to get my hair done. They are the best in Oakland, no lie.
