Terrible place the only good thing about these apartments are their location. Dirty filtjy carpets no dishwasher and the whole place smells like piss. I would highly advice against renting an apartment here as you can get a house for the same price. Manager is a serious macho man. He doesnt seem to care about this place. Stay away!

Fairview Apts. was a nice and easy place to live! Not far from campus (about a 5 min drive really) and also walkable to DT (about 1 mile). You get to park right in front of your apartment door which is great and made me feel safe. Also the cameras added ensured my safe feeling. Plenty of guest parking as well and a great view of mountains from the balconies! The balcony space was an added bonus that is hard to find in SLO. Lived here for two years. 2 groups of friends lived in other apartments with the same floor plan for the same amount of time. Don't expect to get anywhere close to your full deposit back. They'll charge for the carpet cleaning after telling you not to do it yourself, they'll charge two cleaning fees, and they'll say things you cleaned were not clean enough.
