The absolute best place to get a smog check!: Great Place: The thing is, I don't trust mechanics. Never have. But Vic, from Fairfield Smog & Detail really helped me and my old car out when it came time for a smog test. UNPROFESSIONAL - Didn't show up for appointment! DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR BUSINESS. Totally unprofessional! I called him on a Friday evening and set up an appointment for smog check & detailing service the following morning @ 9:30 AM. So, the next morning I arrived for the appointment, only to find the door locked. Great! I had my wife strap our 5-week old kid in another car and follow me over...all for nothing. I was in and out in approx 20 min with my car passing the certification. They were willing to take payment by check, cash, debit or credit card. In and out in 20 minutes The service was fast and friendly. I mentioned the low price guarantee and got a discount. you can make an appointment or walk in. I would recommend this shop to anyone.
will take my car here again will take my car here again: This is a great smog station. FSDC provides a nice chair/umbrell, and a newspaper while you wait. His price is reasonable less than the competitors and in addition, the serviceman is a great guy. This is the first smog place that I will plan to be a repeat customer.
