Great stay. We were looking for a place to stay that was close to the FSU campus. Fairfield was close & moderately priced. The rooms were clean & well-appointed (in-room microwave, fridge, desk, etc). The staff was friendly & knowledgeable. The breakfast was great. We will be back!
This was the worst hotel experience we ever had. A cockroach fell from the ceiling next to my son in the bathroom! He yelled to me immediately, and I saw it run under the door out to the closet area and hide under the shelving. This was the biggest cockroach I've ever seen. Our shoes and clothes were all around there. The hotel staff offered to move us to another room (we were on the 1st floor), and since the roach clearly came from the level above us, I declined.
