Clean hotel, very convenient if you’re doing business in Ames. Everything was good but all was just a little off. The front desk attendant didn’t quite know what was going on. The beds were strangely tall so the night stands were too short to meet the bed. Not having clocks in the room was a little odd. The vague old person smell in the room was weird. My first Marriot had all those, it just nickel and dimed you. (Who charges guests for parking!? That was you Courtyard in Springfield, MO). But after that, I got the full package in Spring Hill Suites. Very well done. But the Fairfield...exc... read more
