The service was on point and rooms were spotless! Convenient location for JMU fans and we'll definitely be back to see all the warm smiling faces at this Marriott property!
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! This hotel is exactly half way between our SC home and our NY/NJ destinations.People (staff) always awesome. The facility is old, the furnishings and room treatments dated and worn. Also not as clean as it could or should be. Clean sheets and blankets with soft pillows make for a good night's sleep.
The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious (especially the oatmeal) and had plenty of options. The location was also perfect—safe, convenient, and close to everything I needed. Kind people. I thought the hotel was new based on how it felt inside. It smelled and felt, fresh, and new. Also, the front desk employees, and the maintenance/housekeeping were all very pleasant and kind. Each one that I saw smiled and felt very welcoming when around.
Convenient off 81. Nice people work there. The free internet is a mess unless you join Marriot rewards. My room smelled like musty B.O.. I asked to change and the next one is just as bad so maybe they need to deep clean the room carpets or air system. Breakfast was just plastic bagels and rubber eggs. I would not choose this property again.
