The process at the pharmacy is severely broken. I’ve consistently had to wait over an hour every time I’m here to get a prescription filled. Today my doctor told me she was submitting a prescription with an elevated priority (acute care) and It’s still been 40 min with no hope in site. Also, I’ve listened to one lady working in the pharmacy tell several patients they have to activate the prescription before coming in but it’s clear patients don’t know this. the pharmacy prescription process has been redone and the line is down the sidewalk. people with crutches are expected to stand 1 1/2 + hours. there are 2 chairs for the elderly. i dont think the wait time begins until I am inside and there are still 10 people ahead of me. why can't I wait in my car? text me when your ready?
Husband brought son in for pink eye. The receptionist COUGHED on their IDs before handing them back. Time for a staff meeting! He was shocked so just doused their IDs in hand sanitizer. How clueless can a medical profession employee be!!
Better online communications, answer the critiques, answer questions about the pharmacy move, and do in within a day or two.
RecommendedMy PCM NP Hopewell is fabulous and goes out of her way to try to address all of my needs if she is able to (despite the 20 minute appointment time). Yes the pharmacy wait can take some time but no more than having to drive to an outside pharmacy, drop off a script, wait 30-60 minutes, then go back to pick it up. All other ancillary services are excellent and staff is friendly.
I love this place. I’ve never had a long wait. My PCM was very thorough and ancillary services like Radiology & the Lab were just as efficient. I work in this area and the access to care is some of the best I have seen, ESPECIALLY as a retiree. Do yourself a favor & avoid the big hospitals & come here. You will be glad you did.
One of the worst systems. I cannot believe the complete run around I have been given in a effort to get a TB test for my daughter. Four times I have taken off work or left work early or been late to work and I have still not been able to get the test done for her. What the hell is the problem with the staff DOD hires???? We have a positive experience each time. My PCM, Dr. Nguyen is awesome. The boys love Dr. Kearney and Dr. Yazdani.
