Horrible, they are understaffed so cannot provide proper care. My dad was there for rehab and it was a complete nightmare. He called me one day saying he had been asking for HOURS to be assisted out of his bed to a chair bc he was 6 pm and he had not been out of bed that day. First of all, I thank all the hands on caregivers who are underpaid and underappreciated. My 88-year-old soft-spoken aunt was a patient in Fahey in February 2024. She asked an aide to help her get to the commode. The response was, "I am not your slave." I do not know the person's name. Certainly she should not be a caregiver. If I did, I would ask that she be fired. We have an aging nation with a shortage of caregivers. We need to reprioritize. Athletes make buckets of money; caregivers make $20.00 an hour.
