Grooms deserve grooming also! – Thank you again for the all the pampering and grooming before my wedding. I know now I got the perfect wife, because she got me the perfect gift. I especially enjoyed my body massage, my facial and my manicure and the warm, caring atmosphere.
Best Best in Town – Yesterday, I, along with my bridal entourage, splurged from head to toe with pampering treatments at this wonderful, caring, and intelligent spa. Wow what treatments! Horrific Customer Service – There are literally thousands of spas in NYC and I would recommend you go to all of them BEFORE ever entering Dorit Baxter. For some reason, this spa has recieved accolades, but clearly those are from magazine editors or other influencers. The wait staff (up to and including the head) was surly, rude, confused, did not have the correct services marked down, despite double confirmation. extremely rude – I purchased a giftcertificate which was accidentally left in storage for the summer. D.B. said they couldn't look it up by name, only purchase date. Then they said they needed printed confirmation from the bank, which I got. Then they said they needed the certificate or reciept. Slice of lemon-scented heaven – Dorit Baxter Day Spa is a slice of lemon-scented heaven in the middle of a hot and hectic city. It was a combination of their excellent services and their charming staff which make the whole experience so fulfilling. Thank You again
25 Years Satisfied Customer – I just happened to be browsing and saw strega516 review titled "Never Again" posted 08/06/2002. Let me tell you, I am a customer for 25 years at Dorit Baxter. I love their organic waxing and I love the clean rooms and disposable sheets, their sterilized tweezer and Renee my waxing person at Dorit Baxter explained to me the benefits of using vaseline(petroleum jelly) on the skin after the area is waxed. Never Again – If you looking to get a full legsrazilian bikini wax then this is not the place for you. I recommend Completely bare salon and Glow spa on 57th street where they do a complete and thorough job on your legs and bikini area. If you do decide to go to the Dorit Baxter salon to have either your legs or bikini area wax I recommend that you bring your tweezer to pull out the hairs that are left behind and please let them know once they are finish ripping your hairs out that you do not want them to rub vaseline on yo... read more
The Best Treatments – Thank you so much for the wonderful treatments I had at your salon. The staff were all very welcoming. I loved my body scrub, although it was more of a massage ... the best of both worlds. Also, I have to say that my face has never looked so smooth as it did after my collagen facial.
