It’s against the law to not allow a service dog into your establishment. You also cannot ask what the disability is.
DISCRIMINATORY PRACTICES AGAINST PERSON WITH DISABILITIES AND SERVICES DOG.
For the first time ever, I was discriminated against at an Evansville business. Eyeglass World on N Green River. Randy told me that I had to leave, even though I had my service dog and explained to him the nature or my disability. The amount of shame and anger that I feel right now is unimaginable. Denied service to a vet with a service dog and demanded documentation for disability and the dog which are not allowed. I don’t wear glasses, but wouldn’t recommend this crap hole to anyone that does!!
I cannot believe you would deny service to a veteran and even ask about the reason for the service dog. unacceptable!!!!
I would never recommend this place. Not only did the doctor not do an eye exam the right way but when I got the call about my glasses being done I drove half hour to get them to them saying my other pair wasn’t done Bc they wanted to see if I actually liked them. They didn’t even tell me that on the phone and they also told a man to leave today Bc he had a service dog.
How dare you deny service to a veteran and make him leave with his service dog!!!
in January I went to Eyeglass World and I got it eye exam and a pair of their $175 buy one get one free with a couple options use my insurance cost me $260 and since I use my insurance I didn't get the free pair and supposedly charge my insurance 240 for the cheapest junkiest glasses that I've ever owned will not go back
