The eye exam is 2 times as much as America's best for the same thing.
Make sure you call ahead of time if picking up contacts. Daughter went over lunchbreak, arrived at 12:15pm. Over an hour later, no one is able to assist her to pick up contacts that are already paid for. No one will answer the phone. Very frustrating when you drive 30 min to a business that has no mentions of closed for however long for lunch break. Over an hour and 15 min.
I really enjoyed my appointment. I felt like they cared.
EyeCare Partners and Vision4Less in Ames are fast, friendly, and have great prices. I lost my most recent pair of glasses in the Gulf of Mexico a few days ago, in a "Boone's Farm Fuzzy Navel wine" and "I'm gonna catch that wave with my face" incident. Since my former prescription was expired, I needed to get in somewhere quickly, to get new glasses so I could see again.
